Ollie's trip to the Children's Hospital Eye Clinic

Dear Diary,
Last week I took Ollie for a trip to the Eye Clinic at Columbus Chidren's Hospital. Ollie has very poor vision and night blindness. His eye doctor suggested we have an ERG test (see Electroretinogram) performed. This test determines how well the retina processes the light signals it receives.

Here we see Dr. LeGuire attaching some of the electrodes. Ollie loved his time with Dr. LeGuire. They had some good chat about Ollie's favorite food (peanut butter) and exchanged jokes ("What did the banana say to the chicken?")

During the test, we spent about 20 minutes in darkness waiting for Ollie's eyes to fully adjust. Ollie and I recounted some of our favorite Seseame Street moments together.

After the test, we stopped in the lobby for a quick photo op. We expect to get the test results sometime this week.
